Is this car beautiful or what! A mint example of a Vanden Plas EFI.

This 1984 VDP EFi is owned by Martin Hooper in Hampshire, and it is used as his everyday car. When it was new it was used for a few months clocking up 6000 miles, then it went into the private Patrick Collection remaining unused for several years. Rimmer Bros then bought the car for their own showroom display (take a look in their SD1 catalogue). There it remained until the spring of 2000, still with only 6000 miles recorded. Martin is the second owner since it was recommisisoned, the mileage now standing at 40,000. It is still in original condition, and today it looks and drives like a 2 year old car.
Should such a unique car be used on a daily basis in all weathers? Opinions vary obviously, but Martin's view is that he is lucky to have found such an original example, but he bought it with the intention of using it daily and feels that's the best way to experience it.
